When people see themselves and each other more clearly, they begin to imagine what they can build together.
Issue One's theme is foundations. We’ve been building ours for a couple of years, and the country has been building one for 250. A table can be a foundation, too. It is where families eat, homework gets done, art projects take shape, lively discussions unfold and, every now and then, somebody deals a hand of nickel poker.
